We are the Ohio chapter of the Association of Physicians of Pakistani Descent of North America, dedicated to advancing healthcare through professional excellence and humanitarian service.
Our Mission
The chapter’s mission centers on fighting illiteracy, poverty, and lack of healthcare access, especially for underserved communities in Pakistan . Its leadership emphasizes service over lavish events, focusing resources on direct-impact projects.
Our Vision
To eliminate illiteracy, poverty and lack of healthcare to majority around the world. We have been playing our part for more than
two decades in this war through our programs.

President's Message
Dear APPNA Ohio members,
I feel really humbled and excited to be president of the chapter in 2024-26. Thank you so much for giving me a chance to serve you. APPNA Ohio is lucky to have dedicated physicians in EC and have great supportive members. I want to thank all past presidents who took our chapter to next level, phenomenally and altruistically. Our struggle is against illiteracy, poverty and lack of healthcare to majority around the world. APPNA Ohio playing its part for over a decade in this war. Our projects do include:
1. Medical Supplies to Pakistan (since 2005): every year we send containers with medical supplies and equipment to charitable hospitals in Pakistan (such as SIUT in Karachi) to help in medical care for poor.
2. Khpal Kor School project (since 2011) for deserving children is sponsored by our members and by Dr Naeem Khan and family and APPNA-Ohio supervises this for years.
3. Cleft Lips and plate project (since 2014) is providing 80-100 free surgeries to poor in Faisalabad and Quetta areas every year under APPNA OHIO. Our priority and goal is to spend most where it’s needed instead of spending on lavish meetings.
